Love. ♥

Derek Anthony has asked me to marry him many times before. In reality, 2009 was the year we got engaged. I always talked about making the date of our marriage NOVEMBER 16! The day our son was born. ♥ I don’t want to consider NOVEMBER 12, 2011 the day we got “engaged” even though he did ask me to marry him on that day. We always knew we were going to get married. We just wanted to wait until we could get the rings to finalize it.

The day we got the rings was the day everything got so real. “I’m going to marry the guy that I’ve been with since MIDDLE SCHOOL!” How cool is that? The guy that stuck around even when our life was a complete mess. DAMN…We had major drama the first year we were together. I remember this psycho boy that did everything he could to break us up. I also remember when this girl told me “DEREK” was seeing another girl while he was at dance practice. All the drama our first year together? WE GOT THROUGH IT!!!

We both changed so much. He understands me more than anyone else ever has. He accepts me just the way I am. Derek, All those times you asked me to marry you…all I did was smile and say “whatever” because you always said you wanted to get the rings first. I didn’t care about the rings because rings don’t justify how much two people love each other. Every single time you asked me to marry you was ONE STEP CLOSER TO FOREVER. I’m more than happy that we are going to spend the rest of our life together. ♥ I think it’s about time we get married. I love you more than words can explain. =)
